Cleanliness & well courteous behavior !
How come these toilets don’t smell and are so clean ? I was afraid to go to the bathroom in the country side but when I got to go; I gots-to-go. To my big surprise this toilet was odorless and beyond clean!
In general Rwanda is a very clean country. Every Saturday, it is national clean up day. The villages is in the country are clean as well. Rwandans don’t litter and the rule to prohibit plastic bags definitely pays off.
Rwandans don’t like mess and are extremely polite. They don’t like people acting a fool according to Numerien. While we were in the taxi bus and the driver decided to speed in mountains, the passengers began shouting that they will call the police. The driver immediately slowed down. The police here isn’t corrupt and correct so people fear it. On the way to the tea factory we got stopped by a police road block. They searched the van for contraband. I thought that was great! There is no need for a country to be flooded with illegal products and the population tends to agree!
I have nothing but good things to say about the people and the way this country is governed !
